G80-1800, as Cherry's legendary series, is still active from the 1990s to today (available on Cherry's official website). Today's popular 98 layout (1800-like) cannot be said to have not been influenced by this series. Today we bring you this classic layout with some innovations after restoring it, hope you like it!

Class 1800 was designed to restore the retro appearance and layout of G80-18xx as much as possible and add modern customized interior and functional support. However, we think that just an aluminum 1800 may not be wrong but it is a bit boring and some friends have already launched such works, so we added a simple replaceable magnetic module design in the upper left corner and provided a relatively simple retro design solenoid valve buzzer module and a relatively complex double knob module.


We did not modify the original indicator light, we only replaced it with brass material and added copper material as an option.

In order to ensure the weight and sound performance of the keyboard, we added a whole piece of brass internal weight to the inner shell and retained the design of an external weight on the back (brass/black stainless steel optional).

Of course, in order to support the 60 layout, some magical changes have been made to the 1800 layout to turn it into f-row+60+pad. At the same time, the 60 area will provide WK WKL HHKB options.

Structure
In terms of the liner, Class1800 supports the traditional Top mount structure as well as the Gas-like steel-free structure with open-mold silicone and 4-corner ear supports.

Layout
For practical and aesthetic considerations, the "WKL" 1813 series dual 1.5u mod and 3*1.25u dual compatible R4 area solution are selected to facilitate win requirements. The welding PCB provides more og 1813 iso compatibility and more complete 1u numpad support. Please refer to the figure below for specific layout:
